Visitor Information

The Walled Gardens, shop and plant sales are open Tuesday to Sunday between 10am-4pm. Last entry to the Gardens is 3pm.

At present, the tea room serves light bites and drinks. Customers can either consume these on our outdoor patio area or take purchases away to eat. 

Toilets are open. However, the glasshouse will remain closed until further notice.

Tea cakes and cream teas have returned to the Tea Room's menu with a special offer running throughout August

Plants for sale

Shop and plant sales access only is FREE. Our plant nursery offers a large selection of herbaceous perennials, shrubs, grasses, herbs, succulents and trees all grown on-site by staff, volunteers and students at very competitive prices.

Health & Safety

Health and safety measures are in place. This includes social distancing, hand gel and sanitizer for trolleys. We thank you for your cooperation.

Do not visit us if you or anyone in your household feels unwell or has any symptoms associated with Covid-19.

Admission Prices & Season Tickets

You do not need entry to the Gardens in order to visit the Gift Shop, Plants Nursery or Tea Room. 

Admission to the gardens is £2.50/person (free for under 16).

As a thank you to our loyal customers, we have reduced the price of our season tickets. 

These will now be £10 for 1 person and £16 for a couple, giving free access to the Gardens for 1 year from the purchase date.

Army, Navy & RAF Forces Discounts

For Group bookings, please visit our Groups page. 

We are a dog friendly visitor attraction, however, please can dogs be kept out of the tea room, visitors with dogs are welcome to use the patio area.

Parking is free, there are limited spaces in the car park adjacent and there is a height restriction of 2.00m high. There are bike racks available in the car park. Alternatively, please use the College car park on Rodway Hill, Animal Management Centre. 

 We have free WiFi in the Tea Room. 

Cycling and ball games are not permitted in the gardens.
